I have been on a hiatus while I got some family things out of the way, then sick, then unorganised, then birthday and back to normal from our new spot on BigBrisbane.au. 

The Dykes on Bikes meet the second Sunday of the month. That looks like this Sunday. If you're a dyke with a motorbike, get in touch through their website, here.

Brisbane's inclusive Rugby team, The Hustlers, have secured Brisbane as the host city for the Bingham Cup 2026. Read about it on their socials or check out QNews. 

Brisbane Inferno, the inclusive Soccer team, have social session every Saturday afternoon in Bowen Hills. Their Facebook page is the best place to look for more information on those sessions.

Pride and Fair Day are coming up next month. Tickets are $20, read up on the event here. Until then, camp it up at The Wickham with the Annual Madonna Party. I'm not sure what Sugar Plump Fairy is - you will have to Come To Daddy to find out.

And lastly, congratulations to James Folcher, for his debut novel Poof, now up for the QLD Literary Prize. We find out how he went on Sept 1st.
